I’m a writer from Long Island, NY, currently working as a brand copywriter in western Massachusetts.
I graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2015 before completing my MFA in poetry at UMass Amherst in 2018. My two poetry chapbooks, Heart Float (Bottlecap Press) and Going to Ithaca (Ghost City Press), were both released in 2017. My writing has appeared in Business Insider and a handful of lit mags; by day, I write product copy and fragrance descriptions for Yankee Candle.
My biggest literary claim to fame to date: in 2015, I published a post on Geneseo’s Gandy Dancer blog proclaiming that poetry can never die if we keep announcing its death over and over. A Washington Post journalist linked to my post in an attempt to prove its thesis wrong, which caused a small ruckus on literary Twitter at the time. (For the record, that guy reads poetry now.)
If you would like to read more of my work, I plan to republish some of my poetry and begin sharing new writing on Substack. I look forward to seeing you over there.
